No one knows how to install, maintain, and repair Air Conditioning, Heating, and Ventilation systems in Central Florida’s unique climate quite like us — we’ve been doing it since 1942, after all!
American Air and Heat of Brevard, Inc. has proudly served all of Brevard County, Florida for over 78 years and has been recognized many times by local civic organizations throughout the decades.
In 1942, Curtis R. Barnes partnered with his nephew, W. Vincent Barber, to create Barnes & Barber Inc: The original Red, White & Blue since 1942. Barnes & Barber became the oldest and most trusted air-conditioning company in all of Brevard County. It was one of the first A/C companies to offer solar heat to its customers.
Mr. Barber went on to become the director of the Florida Inland Navigation District, while Mr. Barnes went on to become the 3rd Mayor of Rockledge, all the while servicing Brevard County’s residents with unfailing loyalty and expertise in the HVAC industry. In Fact, Barnes Boulevard (Rockledge) was dedicated and named after the founder, Curtis R. Barnes, for his everlasting allegiance to Brevard County!
In the late 1990’s, Barnes & Barber merged with a nationwide buy-group called American Air and Heat of Brevard. This impeccable merger allowed for greater purchasing power which, still today, helps reduce company costs and preserve a dependable, family-owned company that is solely dedicated to providing top quality service and equipment at the BEST process, no matter what today’s diverse market throws our way!
